We welcome you to join fellow perfusionists to hear from Michael Manning, MD, PhD, an Anesthesiologist at Duke Medical Center. The presentation will review acute kidney injury (AKI) in cardiac surgery, the various methods used to classify AKI (RIFLE vs. KDIGO, etc.), and possible contributors of AKI. Dr. Manning will also present key findings from his research titled “Conventional Ultrafiltration During Elective Cardiac Surgery and Postoperative Acute Kidney Injury.”
